Diesel…...

On Friday May 9th we had to rush our 12~year old English Bulldog to the vet. He was very Lethargic and that just wasn't himself he was a happy healthy bullie and with him just laying around we knew something was wrong. We got him to the vets office and they did some blood work and testing they first thought that it was congestive heart failure but come to find our it wasn't it was a big mass in his stomach and they needed to get him stable to be able to do surgery to get it out. So they gave him antibiotics and keep him over night. The vet wanted to let us know up front it didn't look good but he was going to do everything he could to try and save him and even if he could it would be a long road to recovery. We all had faith that he would be able to have surgery and come home and be that same happy healthy dog we loved. But that was not the case they got Diesel stable enough to operate but the mass was to big to get out and he had a blood clot close to his heart. Such a sad day Sat May the 10th was when we went to the vets office to say our good bye to our family member that is just what he was FAMILY not just our pet. We have some really good memories to hang on to with this crazy funny smart loving caring one of a kind dog of ours. So many people loved him just like we did. We love u diesel!! RIP Diesel!! We will miss you this house just won't be the same with out u here but glad your not suffering or in pain..
