Easy Way to Make Butterfingers

I love Butterfingers. When I saw the recipe for homemade butterfingers on Pinterest, I knew I had to give it a try. The best part is that this recipe only has three ingredients! Yes I said 3!!! Here you all like it as much as we did here at the Bullington5 house
How can you make a homemade Butterfinger with only three ingredients? Candy corn! I never thought you could melt candy corn, but it turns out that melted candy corn mixed with peanut butter transforms into something amazing! We were shocked at how great these tasted and how close they are to real Butterfingers. Since it's getting close to Halloween, candy corn is everywhere. So grab some and make this recipe! Candy Corn Butterfingers 1 lb. candy corn (I used a small bag and a half but I think one bag would work just as well!) 16oz jar peanut butter (I used Peter Pan Honey Roasted peanut butter) 16oz pkg. chocolate candy coating
Melt candy corn in microwave on high 1 minute.
Stir and continue cooking in 15-second intervals until melted, stirring after each interval.
Stir in peanut butter.
Spread mixture in an 8x8 pan lined with parchment. Cool Completely. (You could put in the refrigerator or freezer to speed up the process)
Cut into squares. (You can make them as big or as small as you would like.
Dip in melted chocolate candy coating.
Lay on waxed paper to set fun to make our own homemade candy that tasted like the original. We really could not believe how close they are to real butterfingers!
